Pepper sprays are legal in all 50 states and territories of the US. In some states the pepper sprays are regulated but still legal.

Even though self defense sprays are not lethal they will and do cause pain. The hurting and affliction are very momentary. The entire point of the function of self defense sprays is to disrupt an attacker’s assault by creating a short-term distraction, like anguish. When you are triumphant in transferring a stream of pepper spray into your assailant’s face, the unbearable hurting will replace his spotlight from the assault to defending himself. Accidents do happen so be cautious when

After you receive the pepper spray you have purchased check the pepper spray to make sure it is protected inside the case or that the cover is closed properly. Check the pepper spray regularly to make sure it is safe. Check the safety to make sure the pepper spray is in the locked position.

Don’t leave the pepper sprays in the car on severely hot days. You should be carrying it on you anyways! The heat an enclosed vehicle can generate is severely above recommended temperatures that you should keep the pepper sprays at. Neglecting the pepper spray inside the car you are taking a risk of leakage, contamination of your vehicle and damaging the pepper spray itself.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

In the event you are sprayed with the pepper spray, don’t panic. Pepper sprays are oiled based so I don’t recommend washing your face with water as it will not really help the situation. You will experience burning eyes, tearing, difficulty breathing and impaired vision. It will be painful but will subside over a period of time. It usually takes approximately 20-40 minutes for the pain to subside but the grief may last longer.

Towelettes made especially for pepper spray removal are available at most retailers where pepper sprays are sold. It will lessen the skin exposure to the pepper spray.
