Self Defense Weapons are the only thing needed in Defense

Self defense products are not only for women, they are for men too.  There is a vast variety of self defense weapons on the market today, those of which include personal alarms, self defense sprays, stun guns and the all popular TASER gun.  As these self defense devices are a wonder tool in helping you in defending you, these cannot be solely relied upon in your defense strategy.

 

Keep in mind because you have a self defense weapon in your pocket it doesn’t automatically make you invisible to the would-be attacker.  Yes it will help in your defense but it won’t prevent you from a potential attacker. 

Becoming confident with your newly purchased self defense device is crucial in defense.  You have to be convinced within yourself that you know your defense tool and you will in fact use if the situation warrants. 

The first priority on your list once you have purchased your self defense weapons is to learn its use.  How does it work?  Where is the on and off button?  Where is the battery chamber if applicable?  Do I need to charge it now and then?  The last thing you want to happen is be in a situation where you actually need to use your self defense device and not have the ability to use it.  Don’t ever bluff your attacker with a weapon unless your intensions of using it are real.  You will just escalate the situation; don’t carry it unless you know you can in fact use it if necessary. 

Purchasing self defense products is your first line of defense.  If you don’t have it with you at all times and easily able to get to it you are wasting your time.  Attacks happen within seconds.  You should always have your defense tool in your hand while walking to and from your car no matter where you are. 

Never solely depend on self defense weapons for your personal safety.  You also have to use common sense in defense.  Make sure you are paying close attention to your surroundings, walking with confidence and know where you are even if you don’t. 

These are crucial as potential criminals may not choose you if they think you are capable of putting up a fight.  They like to prey on the weak minded who they believe is an easy target.
