Buying a Stun Gun? Which is right for you?

Have you thought about purchasing a stun gun for personal protection against an attack?  Are you confused on which stun gun is the best to carry?  It can be a daunting task trying to pick the best self defense product as there are so many different styles to choose from.

Now that you have determined which style you want, you will need to choose the voltage level.  Many shopping for stun guns wonder how many volts they need?  The voltage level in stun guns whether it be 50,000 or 4.5 million are sufficient levels, however keep in mind that the higher the voltage the less time it will take to bring down an attacker.  You also need to realize that the higher the voltage sometimes the bigger the stun device.

One thing to keep in mind while shopping for stun guns is finding one with the disable pin feature  The disable pin, which is attached to the wrist strap prevents the stun gun from working in the event the attacker takes the stun device away from you.  Not all models come with this feature so if this is important to you, you may want to consider the Stun Master brand stun guns.  Most stun guns run on batteries and some have the rechargeable feature, whichever you choose you will need to make sure you change the batteries or recharge your device every few months to make sure it still fires.

Lastly and more importantly you need to carry your new weapon.  It won't do you any good if you don't carry it.
