Women who are experiencing this abuse need to muster up all the strength they can both mentally and physically, keep composure and take control of the situation.  As hard as this may sound to someone going through this abuse it can be done if you try.  They need to believe in themselves.  Have a plan, tell someone you trust that can help you and carry it through.
