Increases in violence of young individuals and gang related people it’s very likely that the multiple assailant situations will increase.
Criminals are just people and for the most part cowardly. The potential victim who appears to be confident and strong will most likely not be a target, but when coupled with other criminals and now out number you, this is when they become stronger and over powering.
Being in good shape will allow you to be more effective in a street fight. Your intensity of performance will be stronger, more confident and your resilience to physical hits will be more tolerated.
Fighting is a competition on who is the strongest physically and mentally. The better shape you are in the better chances of conquering your would-be attacker.
If you are capable of exercising to build your stamina, try to do so, it will only help you.
Technical skills such as martial arts training will allow you the ability to perform trained defensive movements that would help in taking control of a bad situation.
Emotions place a huge part in how your situation can turn out. Confidence, strong willed and a, “I can do this” attitude will guide you. Remember it’s you or them.
The use of self defense weapons or a weapon of other resources can give you an advantage over your attackers. Just remember! If you should decide to carry any type of weapon and you choose to pull it out and threaten you attacker, you must be prepared to use it, there is no going back. No hesitation when it comes to using your weaponry.
